A daily technology intelligence brief, built for one reader, designed so it can become a publication.

What it does

It fetches 69 verified sources three times a day, sorts them into lanes, and puts the scarce ones first. Australian and Queensland material outranks everything else, because that is the layer that is hard to get and easy to miss.

Marking an item puts it in a queue. The queue composes into a draft. That loop is the point: reading forty sources produces a well-informed reader, and publishing what you make of them produces something else.

What it does not do

It does not reproduce articles. Every item is a headline, a named publisher, a date and an extract of at most 200 characters taken from the publisher's own summary, with a link to the original. Subscription sources get a headline and a link and nothing else, even where their feed hands over the full text.

It does not fetch any source that declines automated collection. Those sources are on the Open page as links, which is what they permit. X and Facebook have no lawful route into a product like this, so they are links too.

What it collects about you

Nothing. No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts, no fonts fetched from anywhere else. What you mark is stored in this browser, on this device, and never sent anywhere.

Honesty about coverage

Of 107 candidate sources tested against the live web, 52 worked, 15 were dead, and 40 refused automated fetching. This brief covers the ones that work and names the ones that do not on the status page. It does not claim to be comprehensive, because it is not, and neither is anything else.
